Alexa F

Alexa Finlay lives in the San Francisco Bay Area in California with her husband, cat and three ducks. Her art is inspired by cityscapes, biology, natural landscapes, native cultures and the fauna and flora of the Bay Area and beyond.

She grew up with an artisan and woodcrafting mother, a father with the love of dirty blues and as the youngest of two daughters.

She worked as managing naturalist and curator for four years at a waterfowl wildlife refuge, interpretive natural history museum and redwood forest and worked in parks and recreation for almost a decade and a half.

Artwork currently in public interpretive museum collections and private collections.
