Contact us.Giving is the greatest joy I have found in life.
I'm inspired by the human condition: what it is to experience something, observations inspire me to create.
To me, the joy of handling materials is paramount, I enjoy handling most materials. During the last few years I have produced work in stone, mosaic, wire and plaster of Paris; acrylic paint, collage, print, pencil, pastel, oil pastel, recycled wood, clay, stained glass and concentrated charcoal. I work with whatever is at hand when the muse takes me.
Each piece of art is an experience, like a journey, once taken never forgotten and which enriches my experience of all subsequent journeys. I get most satisfaction from producing things out of recycled or disgarded materials, a low impact on the environment is important to me.
Interpret my work freely, as long as it gives you something I will be happy.
Living with my musician fiance keeps 'art' in perspective. I believe it should be accessible on different levels as music is. Art has a language, we can each interpret it differently. I hope people will take from my work what they enjoy.
For my participation in a Nicosia Red Cross exhibition I painted a portrait of President Anastadiades, whom I met in November 2013. Let's hope he will lead Cyprus through these troubled times to a less stressful future.
