About The Artwork
Sculpture in bronze, full process of creating handmade in the art workshop. Originally named "Male chicken" as it surely reminds a male person and a chicken at the same time. Favourite motive of female legs, this time not really reminding a woman. And a bird - wanting to fly away, but still remains at the ground. The sculpture is hand made in full process in a private workshop of the artist.

I was born 1955 in a little town in the northern Poland (Lidzbark Warmiński), then moved together with parents to the South (Silesia). When I met my wife early 80s we moved to Oświecim, well known globally as Auschwitz. This is where I work and live as a sculptor. I create sculptures mainly in bronze and do all parts from the idea and design to casting or sanding alone, with my own hands.
