Gulseren YalçintaŞ

Gulseren Yalçıntaş, was born in Keskin, Ankara. After graduating from Marmara University Atatürk Education Faculty in 1980 and working as an educator for many years, Yalçıntaş turned to painting, her true passion for a second career. She leads a life intertwined with art in Istanbul.

Known for her love of painting since childhood, Gulseren Yalçıntaş met oil painting in 1991. However, she began her real artistic journey in 2011, contributing to workshops and exhibitions. "Color and painting are twin passions for me... They fill my soul and my mind; painting is what God created me to do." says Yalçıntaş. Who paints what she sees in her own way, usually preferring soft and bright colors.

Working with oil paint on 15x15 cm canvases, the artist sometimes creates patchwork compositions by combining these pieces. Gulseren Yalçıntaş, whose greatest inspirations are Vincent Van Gogh and Henri Matisse, draws from Post Impressionism and Fovism, especially influenced by the use of texture and color.

Yalçıntaş loves to reflect the beauty of nature, the vitality of flowers, and the depth of the human soul in her paintings. "Every painting tells a story. Mine aim to bring a bit of happiness and peace to the viewers." she says.
