Ida Harm

da Harm is a contemporary visual artist whose interdisciplinary practice explores the relationships between living systems, matter, time and transformation. Working across photography, painting, sculpture and site-specific installation, she combines natural materials, organic processes and scientific observation to create hybrid forms and environments.

Her work questions the separation between human and non-human worlds, inviting viewers to reconsider soil, stones, plants, traces and other forms of matter as active participants rather than passive resources.

Her artistic research has been presented through exhibitions, installations and environmental projects, and continues to develop through an ongoing dialogue between art, ecology and the living landscape.

"Beside my painting, I went on practicing other media and forms of art including, photography, installations, land art, etc. with which I am currently working for public spaces, museums, etc. The theme and purpose of my artwork is nature and the deep connection we need to recoverate as human beings with it."

I studied Humanities at the Lycee, then went on with a degree in Educational Science, focusing in cultural processes, deepened with a MA on Developing Countries and studies on Visual Anthropology at Venice University.
