Roby Pissimiglia

Roby Pissimiglia, editor and writer, lives and works in Turin.
Over the past few years he has chosen the hills surrounding Moleto as his adopted land. Here, in the court yards, hay barns and wine cellars, he recovers old farming tools and utensils, which he then restores and paints, combining pieces together in order to create his unique and surprising artistic installations.
The use of dominant metallic colours of gold and silver, appears
to give new life and dignity to the forgotten objects.The works presented for the expositions of Artmoleto are born in this way.
An artistic research fueled by the passion for the traditions of
the farming community, from the creative impulse to go beyond
the apparent image, rediscovering the magic of times gone by.
