Rosy Sbrana

Rosy Sbrana is a Botswana born visual artist and multimedia lecturer whose work delves into the realms of identity, memory, and the cosmos. Holding a B.A. (Hons) in Fine Art from the Michaelis School of Fine Art, University of Cape Town, and a Master's degree in Interactive Media Design from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, Rosy seamlessly blends traditional artistry with contemporary digital techniques.

Her creations are characterized by the innovative use of glitter, acrylics, and mixed media, crafting pieces that are both visually captivating and emotionally resonant. Rosy's art often explores themes of nostalgia, and the infinite, drawing inspiration from the universe's vastness and the intricacies of human emotion.

As a dedicated educator, Rosy imparts her knowledge of multimedia and interactive technologies to aspiring artists in Botswana. Her passion lies in creating immersive experiences that challenge perceptions and invite viewers to become integral parts of the artwork. Through her ongoing exploration of the universe's physical, emotional, and scientific connections, Rosy continues to push the boundaries of artistic expression.
