Hello, my name is Ruth Golmant. I grew up in the Midwest, went to school first on the West coast, then on the East coast. I met my husband on the East coast, and I am still on the East coast. I reside in Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC. I am married I have two children aged 21 and 23.
When I am not painting, I am an online Teaching Assistant through the University of Missouri. I like to read, swim and build multicultural bridges between various groups of people.

I have frequently shown my work both in group shows and solo shows at the Fredericksburg Center for the Creative Arts. I am an exhibiting artist at the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, VA.
