Stella Mance

Stella was born in Surrey.

Stella uses many different mediums in her work; they vary from large abstract oils to mono printing and watercolours. She likes to experiment with materials and push them as far as she can. She often uses flowers as a starting point in her work. She says she finds them "sensual and exciting", and they are a constant source of interesting shapes and colours. Her flowers have a contemporary twist and are never predictable.
At present most of her work is done on paper or canvas using layers of collage, acrylic and inks, she enjoys the textures and vibrant colours that this media can create.

Stella studied at Reigate School of Art and Design where she completed a foundation course, followed by an HND specialising in Fine Art.

Stella has exhibited her art internationally, most recently a solo exhibition in Reigate.

Stella now works with a group of 16 artists known as shedart.
