Tanya Shin

I create minimalistic compositions through photography and mixed media, primarily focusing on the human body.
My work explores themes of sensuality and restraint, seduction and control, seeking to capture transitional states between pleasure and tension, passion and stillness.

I’m drawn to contrasts: brutal femininity and tender masculinity.

In my practice, I use photography, digital layering, and AI based on my own images. I incorporate distortion, double exposure, neural tools, and geometric play.

Several times a year, I travel to collect inspiration, then return to my studio renewed and ready to dive into new work.

My pieces are born from emotion, often rooted in nostalgia.
They are an attempt to reveal new layers to let the viewer glimpse something intimate between me and my process.
I express my emotions, share experiences, and connect deeply with others. Join me as we explore the world through my eyes.
