Andrei Berg Von Butzow

Born in Paris 1944 to Russian parents from St Peterburg.
Passionately fond of art, I finished boring studies very quickly to go into an artistic profession and have decided on photography.



Another perception of the medical imagery.
The hypochondriac artist uses a process allowing to perceive the images and the subliminal messages dissimulated in the medical images.

1968
Self-taugtht, I start my career photographing jazz musicians performing in the clubs of St Germain des Pres in Paris.
1969.
I collaborate with international magazines and I begin especially a personal work.
1974.
First series of nude photographs published in PHOTO magazine as well as in all foreign issues of the magazine.
1980.
My first book of photographs is beeing published about the phantasms of leather and rubber, entitled CATALOGUE in France and MRS SADE in Italy.
1981.
A second book that shock: CREATURES on the subject the transsexuals, published in France and Italy. Several exhibitions in Paris and Milan
1982.
Experimental research on colourphoto in 3 D, published in all international editions of PHOTO magazine as well as an exhibition in the CANON Gallery in Paris.
1983.
Long and busy period of commercial works for catalogues and magazines, French, German and Italian: PLAYBOY, LUI, PENTHOUSE, PETRA, 2O ANS, AMICA, VOGUE,

I have a large photo studio in daylight beeing built in Ramatuelle in south of France.
