Artist Randall Yarbrough

Filmmaker, painter, parent, husband adventurer looking for the next (family friendly) adventure. As a child I was a hunter and an athlete but there was always an inner poet tugging me towards the arts. I became a family man in my late thirties and recently traded big city living for a quite country lifestyle thinking it would be best for my children. I am currently finishing up an series of oil paintings on the imagination of children.

My education came mostly from twenty years of art talk. I was fortunate to live, work and share space with some amazing artists, some famous some unknown. My fellow artist friends and I referred to our conversations as shop talk. I also learned much from my own life experience, some of which was beyond my control while other experiences were by my own accord.
