Konstantinos Baltzakis

My career in the world of fine arts refers to the social and political views that I express through my art. It is situated between the multifaceted observation and study of real and historical events, as well as their sincere, but not necessarily realistic, depiction. I am mostly interested in the effects our current complex era has on the individual and the influence it bears on the latter's mindset. More specifically, my interests are focused on how the citizens of various nations and cultures feel about common affairs versus their personal ones. My main theme is titled "The Citizen's Psychogram" and it is rendered in a variety of methods and materials such as oil, acrylic, coal, egg tempera, as well as video, sculpture, installation, and performance.

Giannoudis.Diplomarbeit mit Ausstellung von l- und Kohlgemlde, zum Thema Psychographie, des mittleren Brgers.Universittsabschluss der Kunstakademie, Spezialgebiet Malerei (nach vierjhrigem Universittskurs der Prof. R. Papaspyrou).LEHRTTIGKEIT:Nachhilfeunterricht an Jugendlichen zur Vorbereitung, der Aufnahmeprfung der Kunstakademie in Athen.In der Privatschule fr Bildende Knste Artio, Unterricht fr freies Zeichnen und Farblehre.AUSSTELLUNGEN:1th International Biennal in Venezuella.Moat Gallery, Vancouver BC CanadaKanagawa-Ken, Japan (2007). Teilnahme an zahlreichen Ausstellungen auf Kreta und Athen u.a. im Ausstellungsraum The Factory in Athen, in der Privatsammlung Pieridis , im Museum Melina Merkouri sowie auch in der alle Dreijahre auf Kreta stattfindende Ausstellung von Bildern und Skulpturen von einheimischen Knstlern.,
