Belinda Millar

Hey, I'm Belinda Millar, an en plein air landscape artist based in Oxfordshire working up and down the UK.

Painting en plein air, on location, is fundamental for my work. There's no better feeling than being immersed in the British Countryside, with the freedom to explore and create without the limits of traditional studio walls.

A flourecent pink ground is present in all my paintings, adding a fizz and energy to the work.

Colour and beauty is everywhere, you just need to stop and look. Most of my pieces are painted in places that I visit often.... My favourite walking routes or spots I whizz by on drives. But they draw inspiration from everywhere I've visited in the UK.

I document the seasons with one colour palette to the next, casing the sunshine in spring and summer and dodging the rain in autumn and winter.
