Connie Desaulniers

After attending the College of William and Mary, art remained a passion but a sideline while I nurtured a successful marketing career. While on a month-long painting immersion, I had an epiphany and resigned all marketing clients so I could paint full time. Thanks to my former life in marketing, I have plenty of fodder for my artwork, which often reflects life's quirks, favorite places and humorous situations. I want the viewer to feel like he or she is part of the painting emotionally and even physically. In fact, my favorite art format is the 3-dimensional paintings that are literally off-the-wall (body parts or other elements protrude from the canvas; several included on this site).

Received a Bachelor of Arts at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA.

Art is on display and in private collections of the College of William and Mary, Wells Fargo Advisors, Mason School of Business, various businesses and hospitals. Exhibits include the Cooper Gallery, Ganache Hill Gallery, Zenith Art Gallery, Nancy Thomas Gallery, Trellis Restaurant, College of William and Mary, This Century Art Gallery, MAD about Chocolate (café and gallery).
