Dalibor Polivka

Dalibor Polivka’s work reveals a consistent, personal mythology, rich in associations with regional and global art and politics. He is a painter, graphic designer and experimental media artist and his preferred medium of expression is the art of installation.

Work:

Graduated from the Comenius University, Bratislava, and the Academy of Fine Arts & Design in Bratislava, Slovakia. Polivka works as an independent artist and curator and senior art director in the field of fine art and design. He has taught art at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in Irvine, CA; at The University of Tennessee, School of Arts, Knoxville, TN and at the Institute National de la Jeunesse et de l'Education Populaire, (INJEP) Marly le Roi, France. Polivka is a co-founder of UFORA - platform designed to explore the global context of contemporary art and he organizes international art exchanges, serving as consultant for the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art in Santa Ana, CA and he is an artistic director of VH Museum, Garden Grove, CA .
