"I regard each blank canvas as the recipient of an outflow of energy which seemingly lies beyond the confines of individuated form.

I often have little idea of what the end result of this out-flowing will be, and the anticipation of that is as much a part of my enjoyment of painting as the moment to moment
experience of putting paint to canvas.

At present there is a movement towards the expression of joy and beauty and I’m finding that can take a myriad of shapes. The prospect of combining colors in new and inventive ways excites and drives me and I continue to seek out color combinations that make my heart sing".
