Grant was born in England, Leicestershire in 1989 and graduated at De Montfort University in Leicester in 2012, studying Graphic Design.
The theme of his work clearly betrays a fascination for people and landscapes. Focused by this allure he paints family, friends, and complete strangers that can be found walking amongst us. The resources used are oil on canvas, furthermore some are painted direct on to an ipad using a digital brush that has the same effect as oil, but without the drying time.
"Artist Grant Milne deals with emotions clearly visible strokes remind of old masters and emphasise the facial expression in his portraits. The motifs from normal life lend the works a classic nostalgia and remind the viewer of the beauty of normal life"
