Betty Jameson

Born 1940 Mt. Vernon Washington State. I live in Austin Texas where I have a home studio.Formerly a traditional water color artist, I now favor experimental water media and collage. Color and texture are featured in abstract works with themes of nature and space.

I received a BA in Art Education from The University of Puget Sound and a MA in Creative Expression from The University of Hawaii. I have been in many juried art exhibitions, both national and international where I have won numerous awards and honors. The most prestigious was my acceptance into the oldest watercolor society in the United States, The American Watercolor Society in New York, NY.,
