Katarina Djordjevic's choice of a painting transposition of the subtle fluid of everyday life meant certain changes in the texture of the painting. First of all, the dense, saturated structure of concentrated energu gives way to a less pasty layer of a more delicate chromatic structure which communicates form in a more indirect way. In that process, the drawing venation emerges, at times, refined, at others, energetic, serving as a resonator in relation to the painted layer, pacifying or intensifying its energetic charge.

Katarina Djordjevic's nature caused her to perform certain shifts in the spatial system of the painting which originates , mostly, in the change of the point of view. The classic, frontal view, is replaced by the view from above. What is avoided this way is the presence of a background along with the risk of the description of space. The picture defines the forms of the creator's touch with the artistic heritage of Prehistorical or Primitive art.
