Leeann Brook

A painter and graphic designer for over 40 years, LeeAnn Brook resides in the Sierra foothills community of Nevada City, California. In addition, she is a guest speaker in the arts and a painting workshop presenter, and is the writer, designer, photographer, artist and publisher of her first book "Points of Inspiration: An Artist’s Journey with Painting and Photography", winning over four national awards.

In July 2015 she opened her first gallery, LeeAnn Brook Fine Art, at 300 Spring Street in Nevada City, CA, where she showcases her paintings as well as the art of over ten other artists. The gallery invites customers to observe her creating her work firsthand, as the gallery also houses her working studio.

Graduating from Paier College of Art in Connecticut with a double major in graphic design and fine art, her fine art work focuses on large format contemporary landscapes and abstracts incorporating her signature style for texture, color intensity and design.

At a young age, she was accepted into the prestigious Connecticut Society of Women Painters and continued on to exhibit in shows and galleries throughout New York and New England, and California, winning over 20 awards. She is a five-time award winner in the California State Fair and a four-time winner in the Wild & Scenic Film Festival juried art competition in California.
