London Amara is an American born contemporary artist recognized for her large scale industrial, gestural and metaphoric sculpture, paintings and drawings. Amara employs a large variety of mediums to explore the complex relationship between art, life and death.
Handmade charcoals, graphite, oils, acrylics, enamels, oxidized metals, assemblage materials, film, fashion, photography, poetry and welded steel sculptures are employed to capture visions of strength and fragility.
