Maria Bogatu

The exhibition "Atelier "˜85" ("Workshop "˜85") is a special event for the public from CALARASI, but also for the exposing artist, Maria Bogatu, the works on the easel being created during the preparation for the entrance examination at the Institute of Fine Arts "Nicolae Grigorescu", when the plastic artist put all her talent and energy to serve the whole idea of beauty, coupled with long exercise in front of the easel.
This is the exhibition of her life not only because of the quality of the 85 compositions, but also by incorporating itself retrospective experience and results under the sign of exemplarity.
The interest in portrait, in still life forms, in artistic anatomy, shows an option to approach on one hand, naturalist, on the other, academic, the primary form being designed in terms of building regulate plastic elements.
Characters mentioned inner feelings through poetry, faces out of sight or hidden emotions which suggest a victory of man over its permanence are elements found in these works of very good quality of execution.
