Marina Kurnysh was born in 1983 in Russia, in Belogorsk, Amur region. Currently lives in Ukraine. Photographer.
Works with water, underwater world, seascape and body.
Since childhood she was interested in photography.
Studied artistic aesthetics with famous Ukrainian photographer Dmitry Bogachuk at the Kiev photo school.
"I am a traveler, philosopher and explorer of the world, and photography always helps me understand the world more deeply.
I came from travel photography to art photography in 2020 after a long search for a way to express my worldview and stayed in this field because I found more freedom of expression here.
I photograph outside of the person and outside of space, trying to become still and transparent the moment the frame hits the lens. When I photograph something, it is always a "magical" story, a picture of the world that can be a guide to the depths of consciousness of whoever is looking at it.
I like to use artistic photography to show the extraordinary in the ordinary, the greatness in the small, and to give harmony to the viewer of my pictures.
