I have been given a second chance to live and I intend to live it on purpose!
In 2011 I was diagnosed with Panniculitus, Cutaneous, T-Cell Lymphoma, for almost a year I underwent treatment and healing of this cancerous disease...I gave up my post as Head of Textiles at a local secondary school which I had been a member of for 13 years and made the conscience decision to begin painting again.
I am now free from cancer and feel blessed and honoured that whilst suffering, God would bless me with visions. These helped me get through the hard times and now fill me with joy. I am able to express my gratefulness, for such a gift that I have been blessed with.
I love conceptual art, abstract work, I am not bound to any genre I love many. I'm currently developing abstract landscapes, pop art scriptural images and a conceptual project named 'Family units'.
I love using gloss paint because of its fluidity and reflective qualities. Oils & acrylics are a close second in choice. My heroes and heroins of art span from Bridget Riley's lush flower paintings to Andy Warhol's, bold Pop art posters, but most of all I could stand a...
