BIOGRAPHY
1948
Born on May 25th and brought up in Langenthal, Switzerland.
1969 til 1972: Technical College HTL Burgdorf: Graduated with Diploma in Architecture
1973 til 1988: Architect and Projektleader in Europe, Africa, Near East and Asia. Longer stays in Indonesia (3 years) and Nigeria (2 years)
1988 til 2008
Programme Director und Projektleader for the The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Humanitarian Aid Unit (SHA). Longer stays in North Korea (3 years) and Sri Lanka (3 years).
2008 til today
Lives and works as an artist in Switzerland and Thailand.
Initiated in Vipassana Meditation according to S.N. Goenka in Thailand.
Travel and study trips
1975-1976 
Journey from Switzerland to India in a camper van. Longer stays in Greece, Turkey, Iran, Afganistan, Pakistan, India and Nepal. Further stopovers in Sri Lanka, Thailand, Hongkong, Indonesia (Bali, Java) and Singapore.
Since then numerous private and study trips in Europe, North- and South America, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Africa and especially in Asia.

Kunstakademie Bad Reichenhall in Germany 
Akademie Wildkogel, Neukirchen in Austria. 
Courses in atelier boesner in Switzerland.
