Gonzalo Sanguinetti Solana

I was born in Barcelona in the year 1966. On having finished my studies of Geography and History in the Central University of Barcelona, I moved to Bogota to do a postgrade and it was Colombia where I had my first contact with the photography.

To my return to Spain I was employed several years as teacher of history at different institutes of Barcelona until I left the teaching definitively the year 1997 to dedicate myself fully to the photography; since then I have collaborated in diverse magazines of trips: Traveler National Geographic, GEO, Rutas del Mundo, Hello trips (Hola viajes), Cosmopolitan, Grandes Viajes, Ronda Iberia, etc. A the long of my career I have combined my activity of reporter with a photography of more intimate and personal character linked to the nude and the scenery that is the one that I want to show now.

My works as reporter are published in diverse magazines like Geo, Hola or Traveler National Geographic, but my most artistic work to remained more or less secretly until the November, 2007 where I realized the first exhibition in Bogota. My second exhibition was in April, 2008 in Barcelona: gallery Silvia Sennacheribbo and I am preparing the second exhibition for the next April also in Barcelona,
