Biography:

The Artist attended various art schools and developed his very particular style once he felt that formal art is too limiting, restrictive and does not allow for his very expressive nature.

His very first Oil Painting was acquired by a law firm in the Cape in 1968 and was sold for the equivalent of US$ 10.00 at the time.

Since then he has done in excess of 1000 works that have found their way to all corners of the globe.

He re-located to Botswana in 1983 where he became renowned for his depiction of the unique Botswana landscape, Wildlife, rural scenes and activities.

After 25 years in Botswana the Artist has now re-located back to South Africa and now works from the KZN South Coast.

He has over the past 40 years done numerous commissionings for corporations as well as private individuals,

has supplied works to, amongst others, the following:

Serowe Art Studio Youth Assistance Programme.


The Serowe Art Studio was founded with the vision to assist artistic and talented youngsters to develop into Artists in their own right with a future as well as income earning potential.

In line with this philosophy, the Artist assists Talented Youngsters by offering free Art Classes, Materials, Mentoring and Tuition. This offer is open to all talented schoolgoing youth G8 to G12 and is particularly, but not only, aimed at those who are not in a position to afford these very expensive classes and thus will never have the oppertunity to develop their talent. This assistance is also especially aimed at those from our white communities who find themselves more and more in an economically challenging situation where luxuries such as art classes are low on the priority list for survival. Do afford your talented youngster - or perhaps someone you know - this oppertunity.

Weekend or School - Break Art Holidays at the Artist's Studio on the South Coast can be arranged to facilitate oppertunity to those who may be limited by distance in taking advantage of the offer.
