Sophie Caillaud

Sophie Caillaud is a french artist living in Ireland. She has recently graduated from the Institute of Technology, Sligo, with a first class BA honours degree in Fine Art. Sophie Caillaud's work deals with a place she has experienced; the campsite of the Burning Man Festival. Through the medium of painting and the exploration and manipulation of the shape of the place, Sophie conveys her own experience and sense of place or the bonding between people and place while the viewers can simply be transported into a world created for them on their own terms.
