About Tommy Lennartsson
Tommy is an artist and illustrator from Sweden. His innovative art capture the viewers' imagination by featuring figures in an often dreamlike, ethereal context. Tommy’s depictions of figures, patterns and shapes reveal new aspects to ordinary objects, as he experiments with colour and the interplay of light and dark. Tommy’s creative background as a commercial and non-commercial photographer, as well as a Features Editor and photographer at magazines, stood him in good stead and culminates in a diverse portfolio that spans realism, symbolism and abstract works. The medium that he uses to create his works is charcoal, pencil, ink, acrylic, spraypaint and the technique is a series of extensive and impulsive phases, where he creates layer upon layer until the piece takes shape and results in the desired effect. Each work is unique and offers the viewer something fresh and innovative. No one piece is ever exactly the same. Tommy is available for private commissions where he can create bespoke works to fit with a client’s interiors style, favourite icon, or subject matter, or even in favoured colours and also has regularly exhibits both in Sweden and international. Indulge in browsing through his works in his gallery and do pop back for upcoming news, exhibitions and as new finished pieces are added. Tommy Lennartsson works and lives in Sweden. PRIVATE COLLECTIONS: USA, Canada, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, United Kingdom and Japan.
