Creating jewellery allows me to engage with shape, volume, color and flexibility in relation to the proportions and motions of the human body.
The fact that the pieces are intended for use is a challenge rather than a limitation. It offers the opportunety to work with combinations of practical and technical solutions, as well as the intimacy, symbolism and closeness to the body inherent to jewellery.
Trough the years I have worked with a variety of materials, yet it is silver wich has truly become my material. The reason lies in the properties of silver, being both soft and firm, pliable, and ranging in colour from luminious white to the deepest black with countless nuances of grey between. My works are mobile constructions in silver wire.
