Oxford born and based in Ireland since late childhood, Aline has been practising as a part time artist for at least twenty years. Following a productive sojourn in Southern France (2011) she decided to embark on a career as an artist on a full time basis. Since then she has received tuition from both, The Slade School of Fine Art, and the Chelsea College of Art and Design, London. Her richly expressionistic work has given rise to developing a loose style of what could be coined as 'Bold Impressionism'. Following in the footsteps of her great grand uncle Professor John Tyndall she too reveres Landscape & Nature. Proud to draw much of her energy from this strong enthusiasm, her technique is based principally on a rich symphony of light, colour and harmony. Essentially, the incidental collation of these facets allows for a real sense of music for the eye.
In sum: 'I paint what I see and feel in the hope of unfolding a universal truth'
