Waleed Farouk

I am Cairo based Sudanese artist, born and raised in Om Durman (Sudan).
I moved to Cairo in 2006, to connect with my cultural roots, with the conviction that cultural diversity is essential in the formation of an artist and for political reasons.
Through my vision of art, and through Nabta the Culture and Art Center I founded in Dowtown Cairo, my ambition is to build cultural bridges based on art, a universal means of communication.
