Egyptian blue. Renaissance green. Venetian red. Baroque vermilion. The deep blacks of the Old Masters.

I work closely with paintings, pigments and surfaces. I take those references somewhere else — into abstraction.

My work is concerned with colour, material and the unexpected relationships between them.

With over 18 years of professional experience my contemporary work bring together the knowledge of traditional painting techniques and materials with a personal language of colour, texture and abstraction.

My paintings are held in private collections in the United States, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Austria, Germany, Romania, Sweden and India.
