"I guess the universe is too big for me, and maybe this is the reason why I like to explore detail or focus on a moment".
Angelika C. Braun uses a digital camera, and when she photographs nature it seems to turn into a painter's brush producing images that have the feel and texture of paintings. "I enjoy beauty, simplicity, and clarity in composition. I believe one can discover this everywhere. Sometimes it just requires a different point of view - or lots of patience".
Angelika holds a Masters degree in Communications from the University of Fine Arts in Berlin and worked several years in Germany for tv and film productions.
Selected works were/are on show: gallery Victoria Boyce (Scottsdale), gallery David Larsen (Scottsdale), gallery Lodo (Phoenix), gallery Image Design by Nature (Fountainhills), gallery of Carefree Interior Concepts (Scottsdale/Carefree), and gallery c4 (Cavecreek).
Cattle track press, Mark Mcdowell, published "˜a box of flowers' a limited edition of 55 portfolio books with 22 images. Further limited editions: "˜arizona sunsets' with poetry by Isabel Ballerna, and "˜it's blooming ... on a cactus'.
