German figurative painter, living and working in Barcelona, Spain since the 1990s. Initially influenced by the School of London (Bacon, Freud, and above all, Auerbach), he broadened his interests over the years. Draws on dance, theatre, cinema. Literature is another strong impulse. Obsessed with the image of the human figure in all its expressions.
