Debbie Zick

I spent a lot of time outdoors in my youth and especially liked watching lightning bugs, butterflies, and preying mantis nests and frogs and toads in different stages of life. I fell in love with horses as a child and bought one at 21 years of age, taking out my first bank loan. My ideas for painting often come to me as images in the waking hours, in dreams or from watching animals. Viewing many painters and sculptors from many cultures throughout the globe and from many time periods have inspired me.
