Aarin Richard

Aarin Richard is an artist in Santa Fe, New Mexico. As a painter, his work is centered in abstract and abstract landscape, which attempts to redefine how we perceive the physical reality around us. His work is in numerous private collections. -------------

Born in Cleveland Ohio, Aarin began studying art in high school, where influential teachers set him on a course of creativity. Visual arts took a detour when music became the focus and upon arriving in Los Angeles, he began a career as a musician, composer and producer. He was hired by Walt Disney Imagineering and later Sony Development, creating music and innovative three dimensional sound design for projects worldwide. During this period, he also founded a movement theater company known as Fred’s House, which performed at numerous events and festivals. --------------

Moving to Santa Fe in 2009 to focus on painting, Aarin was invited into a long established gallery known as The Spanish & Indian Trading Company. Eventually that became the Aarin Richard Gallery, featuring his own paintings as well as historic American Indian artifacts.
