Stanislava Cherkasova

Born in 1995 in Dnipro, Ukraine. 2012-2015 Dnipropetrovsk Theater and Art College (Dnipro, Ukraine) 2015-2021 - The National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture ( Kiev, Ukraine). Multiple participant of all-Ukrainian exhibitions, member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. Works are in private collections in USA, Spain, France,Great Britain, Romania, Israel, Ukraine.

Surrounding world is the main source of inspiration for me. I have always been impressed by the immediacy of ordinary experience, and throughout my development as a painter, I’ve worked to represent that as accurately as possible, trying to capture the raw essence of the familiar and revealing a depth and wonder hidden in everyday life and often overlooked. I believe that true beauty lies a not in certain ideal, but in the natural flow of life, in its variability and imperfection and therefore in painting I don’t seek a perfect gesture but utmost expressive, flexible and metaphorical language.
