Lorena Minoretti

Mother Nature is my inspiration. She fills my mind with magic and colours, light and admiration.
I was born and raised in Ranelagh, a small town near Buenos Aires City in Argentina.
I´m in a constant search of expressing in my artworks those images that reach my heart and touch my emotions.
The effects of light fascinate me. I´m impressed by artists such as Joaquin Sorolla, John Singer Sargent, Adolphe Bouguereau, Robert Bateman among many others. Great masters who managed to show lights and shadows with incredible sensibility.
Through my art works I intend to multiply consciousness about the planet’s ecological situation.

I enjoy painting with oils and watercolors. Such rich mediums to work with challenge me each time I choose them.
I´m partly self taught and partly received education in Art Schools. I learned drawing with the tutelage of two Argentinian artists: Carlos Fels and Jorge Rajadell.
I´m actually attending to painting classes at Rajadell´s Atelier in Buenos Aires.
