Ozge Kahraman is an Istanbul-based artist and caver. She received her BFA from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Yeditepe University (2009–2013) and completed her MA in Painting at the Institute of Social Sciences at the same university (2013–2016), graduating with honors.
With nearly 15 years of experience in caving, Kahraman participates in the exploration and documentation of newly discovered caves. Her artistic practice approaches caves and subterranean spaces through concepts of memory, the body, darkness, and the unconscious. Working across a range of media, including painting, sculpture, site-specific installation, video, sound, and photography, she explores the physical and conceptual dimensions of underground environments.
Her first solo exhibition, Memory of Darkness, opened at Haliç Sanat 2 in 2025. In 2026, her second solo exhibition, ARKHE: Darkness, was presented at MERKUR.
Kahraman has participated in numerous exhibitions and art events, including the 43rd Akbank Contemporary Artists Prize Exhibition at Akbank Sanat, Noise Media Art at Yapı Kredi bomontiada, Confrontation at Pera Museum and CerModern, the Türkiye Textile Biennial at Yalan Dünya Cave, Cappadocia Biennial and Artweeks.
