Francesca Licchelli is a contemporary artist whose practice is deeply rooted in Realism and Hyperrealism, with a distinctive specialization in Macro-Botanical studies and Still Life. Her art is a meditation on the transient beauty of nature, where the subject is often magnified to reveal otherwise unseen details and textures, creating a powerful visual and almost tactile impact.
Francesca's work is characterized by chromatic brilliance and a meticulous mastery of light and shadow. While her signature works are executed in Oil on canvas (such as their recent Neo-Realist florals), the artist is also celebrated for their proficiency in Soft Pastel and Watercolor, utilizing only the finest archival supports, including 100% cotton Fabriano paper and handmade Amatruda Amalfi paper. This versatility demonstrates an unwavering commitment to excellence across all mediums.
The focus on contemporary botanical art, which includes lush hydrangeas, camellias, rosebuds, and hyperrealistic lemons, has established Francesca as an emerging voice in the Realism landscape. Her works are not mere representations but intimate explorations of form and color, ideally suited for integration into luxury Interior Design spaces.

My artistic foundation is rooted in the rigorous methods of classical training, which included apprenticeship under two respected Masters, ensuring a deep understanding of traditional techniques. This specialized education encompassed pictorial decoration, fresco, mosaic, and artistic stained glass, providing a wide technical and historical spectrum. My continuous practice involves extensive sessions of life drawing (sketches from life with model), which underpins the precision in my Figurative and Realist works. This unique blend of decorative artistry and technical Realism is the core of my signature style, demonstrating a meticulous mastery of form, color theory, and composition across Oil, Pastel, and Watercolor.
My work has been consistently featured in collective and curated exhibitions in Italy since 2015. I have exhibited in professional galleries and cultural spaces located in major Italian art centers, including Rome and Florence. These exhibitions reflect my active engagement with the contemporary art scene and my commitment to showcasing technical mastery across Oil, Pastel, and Watercolor to a discerning audience.
