Petrica Stefan

Petrica Stefan is a young painter (b. 1988, Resita) living in Timisoara, Romania. He has an MFA degree in Painting from the West University in Timisoara and exhibited solo a few times before being represented by 418 Gallery in 2014.

“He enthusiastically and passionately paints in oil colors. Strong brush strokes and an always surprising and fresh gestualism define his art. His paintings inspire force and vitality on one hand and grace and sensitivity on the other. The chromatic harmony of his paintings, along with his vivid imagination, define his works as very original.“ (Alexandru Gerdanovits, 2016)
