Radovan Zdrale

I graduated from the school of Yugoslav Belles-Leters in the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade. I was a teacher in the gymnasium in Subotica, then the editor in chief of the Rukovet magazine, the director of the Public Library in Subotica and a professor at the Pedagogic Academy in Subotica. After moving out to Novi Sad I functioned as a cultural worker, the of the Public Library in Novi Sad and finally the director and the editor in chief of the Matica Srpska publishid house

I exhibited statuary at more than twenty one-man shows in the major cites of ex- Yugoslavia and Europe,and about fifteen group shows all over the world, my works being on show in the numerous museums.
My sculptural productions comprise about 3000 works. My gift collection, 147 works in semiprecious and ornamental stones, entitled Fruska gora: Stone and Shapes is on show in the institute for the preservation of nature in Novi Sad ; the collection Stones world in the Herzegovina Museum in Trebinje ; the collection of sculptural works featuring Nikola Tesla Memorial at Elektrovojvodina corporation in Novi sad and 147 works in gallery Matica srpska and Muzeum Vojvodine
