Nelli Kirman is a Ukrainian artist whose practice bridges painting, art theory, and cultural reflection. Her work explores themes of observation, inner silence, resilience, and the human connection with nature in times of social and personal transformation.
With an academic background in fine arts, art history, and theory, Kirman combines visual sensitivity with deep conceptual thinking. Her paintings often create meditative spaces that invite the viewer to slow down and engage in quiet contemplation.
She has participated in more than 70 international and national exhibitions and held multiple solo shows. Her works are included in museum collections and private collections in Ukraine, the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Slovakia.
Nelli Kirman holds a degree in Art Theory and History from the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts and a degree in Fine Arts Education from the Pedagogical Institute (Rostov-on-Don). She is an accredited Folk Master recognized by the National Union of Folk Art Masters of Ukraine.
She is a member of the International Association of Art (IAA) under UNESCO and the Youth Association of the Artists’ Union. Her artistic practice is supported by extensive exhibition experience, academic research, and publications in international and Ukrainian art journals.
Nelli Kirman has held more than 10 solo exhibitions and participated in over 70 international, national, and regional exhibitions and plein-air projects.
