I was born and raised in the garden city of India "Bangalore". I live here with my family,

My parents are from Rajasthan which is a state of colors, rich culture & heritage. As a kid I used to visit my native during vacations which drew me closer to my roots. People dressed in bright colorful clothes. Red, pink and orange turbans, the bright lights during the weddings and the tinted glass windows and mirrored walls in the palaces drew me into the world of colors.
I am inspired by what I see in my day to day life.
My mediums are acrylic and oil. i love the smell of paint. Oils are fun and acrylics are quick to work with. I use brushes, nibs, palette knives, and my fingers, dripping and pouring techniques to put my thoughts on canvas. I like texture in my work.
I am proud to say that I am a self taught artist, When I was growing I did not have the exposure of you tube and other social medias. I have learnt by trial and errors. I have won many prizes in art competitions when i was in school.
I love spending my time with canvas and colors, It gives me immense satisfaction and peace of mind bringing out the best in me.
For me painting is like meditation.
I feel humbled to be able to share my work with the world.

I did my schooling in Bangalore. I'm a self taught Artist.

In 2002 i decided to do a course in "Aesthetics and Cosmetology" which I pursued and completed, It landed me in a multinational company giving me an opportunity to travell and meet people, this was an enriching experience.
