I live and works in the west coast of Scotland producing painting and mixed media work of mostly marginal or fringe spaces. I draw upon my roots in printmaking giving my work an emphasis on mark-making and shape. I have an interest in all things Modernist and my influences include Hockney, Piper and the St Ives school in Cornwall. On a recent trip to Iceland I painted some of the beautiful Modernist Lutheran churches dotted around the country and in my most recent solo exhibition in London I depicted Lidos and outdoor pools from around the UK. A regular contributor to Art fairs, I am represented by galleries in Scotland, England and Wales. in 2015 I became a Diplomate of the Paisley Arts Institute and have
received several awards from the Royal Glasgow Institute’.
