Actually, it was obvious that I ended up in image editing for my work. Already in my early years I had a passion for images and creating images. What fascinated me so much was my connection with what I was portraying.

You could see this very well. Despite being two-dimensional, the images seemed to have an extra dimension. It was as if the person or object was connecting with you and inviting you to step into her or his world.

Later I created the same effect on the photos I retouched by hand for my first employer NEROC. This also applies to the digital retouching that I did for Souverein and later Magicgroup for many well-known brands. Our clients’ retouched images “came to life”. The towering image of a football player in Rotterdam is a vivid example of this. You can also find examples of my work in many advertising materials and books.

Today i work for myself.
