Faen Berg Sargsyan

The spiritual nostalgia of Sargsyan is accomplished through the “overlooking” of the form of the nature. This is the way to the idea - from the matter, the origin of the artist's specific drama, to the discovery of its inner essence in reality, pure as in nature. Thus, his works are purely personal representations of his feelings; his colors, dimensions, and the many and massive brushstrokes that are far from any aestheticism, expose the wonderful depth and meaning of life and nature, beyond the constrictions of time.

1958 - Entered the artists’ studio in Yerevan. Took part in an exhibitions in Czechia
1975 - Graduated from the Arts facility of the Yerevan Pedagogical Institute.
1976 - Lecture in the same Institue.

1959 - Took part in an exhibitions in Czechia Winning the first prize and a gold medal.
1967 - Moscow
1978 - Personal exhibition in Museum of Modern Art in Yerevan.
1982 - Los Angels
1998 - Holland.
2002 - State Gallery of Armenia
2004 - Paris

His works are property of private collections in France, Germany, England, Lebanon, Yugoslavia, USA.
