Irena graduated from the Vilnius Academy of Arts, where she studied Interior Design, Architecture, and the Theory and History of Architecture. Her academic path was deeply rooted in artistic exploration and visual expression. The program incorporated extensive training in sketching, composition, colour theory, light studies, drawing, and creative practice, all of which helped shape her sensitivity to form, rhythm, and narrative within visual work.
Her studies combined conceptual thinking with hands-on artistic development, allowing her to build a strong foundation in both technical precision and expressive, experimental art-making. This educational background continues to influence her mixed-media practice, where architectural clarity meets emotional texture and layered storytelling.

Irena has participated in several group exhibitions showcasing contemporary mixed-media practices. Her works were presented alongside emerging and established artists, highlighting her distinctive approach to layered surfaces, text-based elements, and emotional narrative.
